Journalism is my first love. I’ve written for the Sydney Morning Herald, Honi Soit, and Eternity News, hosted debates between politicians on the election trail and created a live broadcast of election night coverage just for young people.

✍️ Writing

I have a love/hate relationship with writing. Mostly, I love it. My big writing project right now is editing a fortnightly newsletter about growing up better, together: The Grow Up.

📺 Live broadcast

There’s something thrilling about live broadcasts that will never wear off for me. Recently, I led a team to produce and direct a two-hour live show for a school program (a cross between Shark Tank and The Voice — fun, right?). I’ve also interned with ausbiz, which is a live broadcast master operation.

🤳 Social media + video

I’m particularly passionate about using video to share key messages. I recently had a go at being a travel vlogger for uni and, much to my surprise, I sort of loved it. I am keen to learn more about podcasting and other forms of digital storytelling, too.
